If you’re looking for a reason to book an extra vacation in 2022, here is the perfect excuse: Later this year, Evrima, the first of three eagerly anticipated superyachts from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, will set sail for the very first time. It’s no accident that the innovative, 624-foot vessel, which accommodates up to 298 guests and boasts 149 suites, is smaller than the typical five-star cruise ship. The intimate size means that Evrima can call on signature destinations and sought-after ports such as St. Barts, Mykonos, and Saint-Tropez. Most voyages on the yacht will last between seven to ten days, but every itinerary is one-of-a-kind. Whether you book a Caribbean voyage, opt to explore the Mediterranean, or choose a trip that takes you across far-flung oceans, the yacht experience aboard Evrima allows you to escape into the cultures of stunning locales like the Balearic Islands of Spain, Costa Rica, the French Riviera, and more.
And there’s no shortage of activities and luxuries to savor while on board the ship. “One standout feature that I’m particularly excited about is the marina platform, which allows our guests to enjoy a swim by stepping off the back of the yacht and directly into the ocean,” says Donna McNamara, Vice President and Global Brand Leader for The Ritz-Carlton. Travelers have dining options galore, including S.E.A., a restaurant designed by three-Michelin starred culinary artist Sven Elverfeld, the head chef of Aqua at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg. Spa-lovers can indulge in treatments in-room or al fresco, and all guests will feel at ease in their suites. Each one has a private terrace, and floor to ceiling windows. If you want to entertain select suites can be combined to create an open-concept layout for maximum flexibility. “We designed Evrima to be a destination in and of itself, one where our guests will feel completely at home throughout their journey. I love that we're giving travelers a new way to explore the world with us,” says McNamara. Keep reading for a sneak peek at four of Evrima’s timeless suites.
“The Ritz-Carlton is known for exceptional quality. From a design perspective that means we consistently provide high-end finishes, thoughtful touches, and all the right details to create a refined, sophisticated, and luxurious environment. The same is true of our Yacht Collection at sea,” says Taylor Cluff, Senior Interior Design Manager, Global Design for Marriott International. Take one look at the Loft Suite, and you’ll understand exactly what Cluff means. This two-story space features a sprawling bedroom with a panoramic window, a large balcony on the second floor, and access to two different decks that lead straight to stellar amenities on the yacht.
Cluff had a specific mission for Evrima’s overall design: to replicate the ambiance of a private yacht. The refined aesthetic comes to life with an elegant color palette, carefully curated artwork, and impeccable lighting. Each suite features a large balcony and impressive bathroom. The Grand Suite, shown here, also has two walk-in closets–no need to pack light.
If you’re a social butterfly, consider booking either the Signature Suite, highlighted here, or the Grand Suite above. “Both are large enough for entertaining, so we thought carefully about designing for that purpose,” says Cluff.
Thanks to clever space-saving strategies, all the rooms on board feel palatial, even the cozy Terrace Suite pictured here. “Every suite graciously accommodate everything you would want with room to spare,” says Cluff. You just might be tempted to move in.
